My Overall Outlook: SUPERAntiSpyware remains a very easy and safe program to use. SUPERAntiSpyware is truly your one stop shop for Spyware, Adware, Malware, Keylogger and Internet Cookie detection and removal.

 

Con’s: My only con is that their main UI (User-Interface) is awful. To me It looks like a grade school child used paint for the first time to create It. To me it should look more in line with Win 7 or Windows 10. Instead of looking more in line with Win 95 / Windows XP UI.

My Overall Outlook: SUPERAntiSpyware still remains an extremely effective anti-spyware / malware program. (Even in it’s freeware version package.) You are not choked to death with excessive over the top software limitations, like so many other freeware programs out there. You are still required to update SUPERAntiSpyware manually and you can still use SUPERAntiSpywares 5 different scanning options (minus of course the scan scheduler option).

The only 2 very minor downsides that I can see, are that you have to manually scan and manually update SuperAntiSpyware yourself. (But for most people that is not even a very big deal. Because we already do it anyways with so many other free programs such as Spybot, Malwarebytes and AVG)

My Final Verdict – If you want the full epic-ness of AVG on your PC then I recommend you pick it up. Even with the hefty price tag this software suite carries. This program truly has everything a PC user would need or want and it can be used on as many devices as you want with no limits imposed. This can be install on a PC or Mac and any mobile device you have laying around. All you need to do is create profile and send out an e-mail invitation to whom every you want. So with just the cost of $99.99 CAD a year. You can cover all your computers and mobile devices.

So if you have the coin to put down on this program I highly recommend this program to any PC user that wants full anti-virus program with the addition of  a full PC optimization suite added in for the same price.

Try giving us features that are fully functional and at least somewhat useful like the shredder option.

10. Tech Buddy Support – 0.0 “Abysmal” – This is just a cash grab. Completely worthless as well as falsely advertised and overally misleading to the end user.

11. AVG Direct Support – 0.5 “Abysmal” – With only a free forum and a phone number to call for support.

You will often find yourself ether being told to go to the free forum or they will recommend you go to further specialized support team via Tech Buddy. Which like I said above is an epic MONEY GRAB. Completely worthless as well as falsely advertised as well as overally misleading.

Then you are probably with me on my conclusion. That it should not be there in the first place. Try giving us features that are fully functional and at least somewhat useful like the shredder option.

10. Tech Buddy Support – 0.0 “Abysmal” – This is just a cash grab. Completely worthless as well as falsely advertised and overally misleading to the end user.

11. AVG Direct Support – 0.5 “Abysmal” – With only a free forum and a phone number to call for support.

You will often find yourself ether being told to go to the free forum or they will recommend you go to further specialized support team via Tech Buddy. Which like I said above is an epic MONEY GRAB. Completely worthless as well as falsely advertised as well as overally misleading.

My Final Verdict – AVG Free Anti-Virus 2016 takes the same approach. That AVG 2015 took with regards to the UI (User-Interface) and streamlined interface.  It is very simple and easy to navigate. Just the way that an anti-virus program should be.

I personally thank G-d that this time around it did not take me more then twice to install AVG Free Anti-Virus 2016. As oppose to AVG Internet Security 2016 (which we will talk about in that review tomorrow) took several attempts to install. So again, well done AVG for getting it right this time.

They have actually in some cases increase 10 to 20 minutes overall. But just like Danny said “We will keep a close eye on the next version to see if this is a new trend.” Or just a blip on an otherwise positive trending direction.

FF. Scan Boost – 5.0 “Excellent” – This option seems to have remained. So much so even my dual core computers have show at least a 10 to 20 mins differences between using regular or “Low Boost” as oppose to “High Boost” scanning option.

FFF. Types Of Different Scans Available – 5.0 ” Excellent” – With 5 different types of scans to suite your fancy. You can’t go wrong regardless of your final choice of scan.

My Overall Outlook: SUPERAntiSpyware still remains an extremely effective anti-spyware / malware program. (Even in it’s freeware version package.) You are not choked to death with excessive over the top software limitations, like so many other freeware programs out there. You are still required to update SUPERAntiSpyware manually and you can still use SUPERAntiSpywares 5 different scanning options (minus of course the scan scheduler option).

The only 2 very minor downsides that I can see, are that you have to manually scan and manually update SuperAntiSpyware yourself. (But for most people that is not even a very big deal. Because we already do it anyways with so many other free programs such as Spybot and Malwarebytes.)
