I am very happy to report it is very easy now to get your 1,000 points or $50 USD, often you can achieve the feat in less then (6 months). I have even seen it earned in less then 3 months.

were you really able to get the 50$? i have reached more than 1000 Market Points last Nov 16, 2011 and redeemed 1005 points. but as of now (Jan 18, 2012) I havent received any form of payments. they say to wait for 6 to 8 weeks, buts its more than 8weeks now, and I havent received any.

Yes You can get $50. Just often it takes way longer then they claim it will take. I would advise you to wait 1 or 2 weeks then e-mail or contact them. Just check out there contact page off hand I can’t remember if they have a phone number to call.
PS: Often when around x-mas and new years. They don’t seem to count tho weeks so it will take longer to arrive. Or it could of been lost in the mail.
