X-notifier (3.5.19) – Mozilla FireFox Add-on Review

X-notifier (3.5.19)

A. Ease Of Use: 5/5 – Very easy to setup multiple e-mail accounts. On any of several different free mail services. Such as Outlook, AOL, Yahoo, Gmail and many many more.

B. Security: (Very Un-secure) – It gives you a by-pass of all your passwords and usernames. Not recommended for shared and or public computers or for high security e-mail accounts. (I would also avoid any Wi-Fi hotspots as well.)

BB. Other Important Security Information:  Just remember your E-mail account passwords and usernames are view-able in the FireFox Options. Under SecuritySaved Passwords

C. Usefulness: 3/5 – If you are lazy like me or just have a really bad memory go for it. Just remember. You are at an SEVERELY ELEVATED risk of your e-mail account(s) being hacked and or hijacked. Due to how easy it is to find and copy your usernames and passwords.

D. FireFox Slowdown: Very minimal for most computers

E. Computer Slow Down: None

F. Type Of User I Would Recommend To Use This Add-on: I would only recommend this add-on for people who are unable to use e-mail without assistance.

**If you are good with the Internet and free e-mail accounts such as Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo and have a good memory. Please try to avoid this potentially massive security risk to your e-mail security and any sensitive data stored there-in.
