I’ve been following you guys for almost 4 years now. And I noticed that you guys have not mentioned any “Kick Starter Campaigns“. Nor have you guys any section in your (CSW) Policies about them. What is your view on Kick Starter ? And if I decide to start one up. Would I have the backing of (CSW) ?

What is your view on Kick Starter Campaigns ?
Remy’s Reply: I actually don’t really have much of a view on Kick Starter Campaigns. I have not invested any money in any kick starter at this point. I know there has been some really good campaigns and some really bad campaigns. Right now I rather spend my money on something I know well and will be successful. Without any hidden danger of losing my investment or not getting what I wanted in the end.
Matt’s Reply: Well, when it comes to KickStarter Campaigns, I’ve only ever invested in one, because it was for new episodes of a classic British TV show that is near and dear to my heart. Yes I am English and am from the United Kingdom. In general though, my experience of KickStarter Campaigns is limited, so I do ignore the vast quantity of them.
And if I decide to start one up. Would I have the backing of (CSW) ?
Remy’s Reply: Well that would depends on if it fits with the main themes of (CSW) and it’s content. If you believe it does, then please feel free to e-mail us @ email@example.com. We will take a look and see if we are interested. I also wanted to add just because we maybe interested does not grant you an automatic investment (money) from myself or my team. We would just put up a link or a post an explaining your kick starter campaign. Then we would let our readership decide if they want to invest with you or not.
Matt’s Reply: When it comes to (CSW) backing KickStarter Campaigns, the decisions on this are usually dealt with by our Editor In-Chief Remy “Se7en”, but both Remy and myself, as Managing Editor, due tend to discuss most things that happen on (CSW). This means that if there is a KickStarter, creating by someone else or yourself, that fits with our sites main themes and content, then we might be willing to take a look at it. For this to happen, then as Remy said above, then please feel free to e-mail us @firstname.lastname@example.org.
When it comes to our involvment in KickStarter Campaigns, please don’t expect Remy, myself or any of our team to put in any investments or capital (money) into these projects as that would show that we are being biased to these KickStarter Campaigns. What we will do is put up a link or a post, which explains your KickStarter Campaign, and then we would let our readership read the article and decide for themselves if they want to invest with you or not.
