    • PSP-2000 : About $109.99 USD/CDN (For core pack system only)
    • PS Vita : About $99.99 USD/CDN (For the Wi-Fi model)
  • Are There Any Cool Bundles Available?
    • PSP-2000 : Yes, for $109.99 USD/CDN, these bundles include Metal Gear: Solid Peace Walker, Invizimals 1, Madden NFL 11,  Hannah Montana: Rock Out The Show (Just to name a few)
    • PS Vita : There are no bundles at this time. But there was a First Edition bundle with Little Deviants. But that is no longer available. Unless you are searching E-bay or buying it second hand.
  • Target Audience
    • PSP-2000 : More mature 17 and above (Not saying people older or younger would not enjoy some of the games or the system itself)
    • PS Vita : Market research says it is aimed at the little bit younger audience (14-18) becuase of the heavy social networking aspects (Not saying people older or younger would not enjoy some of the games or system itself)
  • Durability Of Each System
    • PSP-2000: Glass LCD screen cracks really easily. The PSP also is very easily scratched (Seems to be better in moist environments, but still not recommended)
    • PS Vita : OLED screen smudges really easily. Very durable overall. Seems to be rather difficult to scratch the screen. (Thou I am sure it is very possible.)
  • Type Of Battery
    • PSP-2000: Lithum-ion 3.6V 1200 mAh factory included battery (Extended Battery can be bought that adds 5-10 hours)
    • PS Vita : Built-in Lithium-ion Battery: DC3.7V 2210mAh factory included battery (Battery is not replaceable or removable)

    • PSP-2000: 5-7 hours with default battery (Extended Life Battery can be bought that adds 5-10 hours)
    • PS Vita: 3-5 hours battery life (Battery not removable)
  • Batteries Ability To Hold A Charge
    • PSP-2000 : Terrible even when off the PSP will lose a large amount of the charge, when not used for just a few days.
    • PS Vita : Actually this is one of the clear improvements (over the PSP). The Vita seems to hold it’s charge even when not being played. Or when left off for an extended time.

    • PSP-2000 : Not really as there was no previous PSP system, but all PSP’s are now able to play limited number of PSOne games and a limited number of PS2 games.
    • PS Vita: So, far you can only play 267 of from the PSP game library and a very limited number of PS minis

    • PSP-2000 : Shooters, Platformers, and Puzzlers
    • PS Vita : Mini games collections like Little Deviants, Stealth Action (Ninja based games) and AR games
