What Does Computer Savvy Weblog Cover ?

Back almost a year to the day when a reader e-mailed me and asked what the Computer Savvy Weblog policies were. So as always you guys ask for it I will be more then happy to oblige. So when I was asked by a few of you guys recently about what Computer Savvy Weblog  cover. I was more then happy to give you guys a complete list of all the software titles we cover. I figured it was only fair to give you guys the best list of what we cover so you know what we cover and don’t cover. So here is the first draft of the list that will explain what we cover, and how in depth we cover it. Either myself or one of my other members of the team will update this list as needed.

Common Computer Savvy Weblog Terms

CSW: Computer Savvy WeBlog

Cred : means credit for article or input giving.

Spec Points: Are a type of credit that I give my members. Based on the number of views and comments left by other readers and or bloggers.

Polices

1. Copy and Paste Policy – I don’t copy and paste unless it is stated in the post or if there is an article that is copy and pasted is will be altered by at least 80% with my original information and content.

1A. Internal Copy and Paste Policy – I will at anytime cut and paste information from older posts or combine posts. I will also sometimes use content from my other members blogs. But only with their approval before I post said post.

1C. External Comment or e-mail Cred policy – If I receive a comment or e-mail with new information or link. I will use the persons screen name, website or e-mail address to give them cred provided it is new information that I already have posted.

1CC. Cred Exclusion Policy – I will not give cred for stealing my information or if somebody is just trying to promote their blog or website. That includes cutting and pasting from any of my posts or any of my members posts or pages.

2. Weekly Blog Update Policy – Every week on Sunday…There will be a full Blog Update with a whole number such as the following (Blog Update #88) This Blog update will include a preview of some if not all the feature of the coming week. Such as any feature changes and any big features for the week such as big name reviews. The review may also set up time lines for future projects….

2A. Post Update Policy – If at anytime I decide to alter the original post (ie, Spelling, context, content update, add/remove or update link or post name.) I will post the date like this (Last Updated Oct 21, 2008 @ 7:46pm EST) The colour may be different but the information will contain the same information and all time will be in EST time because I live in CANADA

2B. Blog Progress Update Policy – I will do a full blog update (Blog Update ##) once a week and if there is required another small update in the same week it will look like this (Blog Update ##.5 or Blog Update ##.5.5)

3. Blog Comment Reply Policy – I will respond to all comments that provide a real e-mail address in 12hrs to 48hrs after the comment has been received provided that address does not spam me.

3A. Received Comment Swearing Policy – I may respond to said comment but I will not post them..sorry

3B. Received Comment Website and Link Policy – If I receive ether Link or Website…that is not appropriate is trying to Spam Computer Savvy or is dangerous to the (CSW) readership it will be remove leaving only the comment.

4. Scammers Database policy (Lotto Scam) – I will update it weekly, Provided I have new information to add

4A. Scammers Database Policy (Hotmail Scam) – I will update after I receive 5-10 new scammer address

4B. Scammers Database Policy (Paypal) – I will update after I receive 5-7 new scammer address

4C. Scammers Database Policy (Bank Scam) – I will update after I receive 10-20 new scammer address

4D. Scammers Database Policy (This is promotion Scam) – I will update after I receive 7-12 new scammer address

4E. Scammers Database Policy (Bank Of America Scam) – I will update after I receive 7-15 new scammer address

4F. Scammers Database Received e-mail policy – I will do user generated updates when I receive enough e-mail to do so.

5. Internal Swearing Policy – I will only use short forms like WTF or F*ck that also includes all my other blog members.
