WARNING: There have been a large number of complaints we have received related to Opinion Outpost being very glitch-y. We have also received reports of Opinion Outpost freezing some peoples accounts. So they are no longer able to redeem their points for any of the Opinion Outpost cash out options. In both of the above cases both myself and my team have been affected by the above issues to some degree. So we found it paramount to disclose this information to anyone wanting to sign-up with this site.

Overall Rating: 1.5 out of 5 – Opinion Outpost is yet again having MAJOR administration issues (Mostly log-in and tracking issues. But more recently. We have been getting quite a few reports about Opinion Outpost freezing peoples accounts. So they can no longer use any of the cash out options.). But the main issues of the past 3 months that sticks out to me are. There has been a major increase in the overall difficulty of qualifying for the reward promised. I have often found myself almost 50% or more into a survey. When I am kicked out for little to no reason (What So Ever). I don’t even get the screen. That asks me if I want to try for Instant Prize/Donate/ or Leave. That is honestly a really rather sad situation. When we put in the time and effort into said survey. And receive ABSOLUTELY nothing in return, other then the run around or just really rather lame excuses why it is our fault. That to me is just unacceptable.

Extra Important Information: You must complete your full profile as well as update it at least once a year. To continue to receive your survey invites from Opinion Outpost. If you fail to do so, Opinion Outpost will just stop sending you survey invites to you without any warning at all.

    OO has really changed since they were bought out by SSI. Most of the surveys I attempt I start and like Remy 5 or 10 min in I am told the survey is already full. The only time I get the no credit issue for failing is when I am told the survey is already full and OO shows a counter before letting me attempt another survey.

      As always welcome back…..

      I was never notified that they had been bought out. Regardless they are super glitch-y to work with. And I maintain my super low score for them.

      If I try view or do anything while logged in after doing survey. I get kicked out.

      I need to manually sign in via their gateway page to be able to view or change anything. Which really sucks a lot.

    Just received 2 surveys from OO, but they have no points, only prize drawings. People in OO facebook told me to update my profile if I dont’t receive any survey for more than 2 days, they might added some new questions in the profile. Do you think I should go and take a look? I just updated 3 weeks ago.

    Finally received a reply from MySurvey, they just credited me a sweeptake entry for the error survey.

    I am stilling waiting for $15 from Mysurvey and $50 cheque from Global test market.

      Do you think I should go and take a look?

      Answer: Sure why not it won’t kill you. Maybe take you an extra 3 or 4 mins max. But I think that is bunk anyways. I have not updated my profile in quite awhile and I still get at least 3 survey invites a day. If not more.

      I’m just very busy. So they tend to pile up. But regardless OO is still very glitch-y. And until they fix their main OO hub. People will keep on saying things like update your profile it worked for me. Honestly, I think it is pure luck or fluke. That. Minor of a thing would actually fix anything.

      Otherwise they would send out a blanket e-mail to everyone registered and say. “Listen guys we are co-owned or fully owned by someone new. If you still want to get survey invites. It bess you update your main profiles.”

      Now since they have not done that (yet). I doubt that is the issue. Right now they are trying to figure out what the best UI (User Interface) is for their new site. And right now it is one huge epic mess.

      Unless you sign in to their main gateway page. And then and only then is it stable and not at all glitch-y.

    OO just credited one of 2 missing points surveys, I am still waiting for another one. I am wondering why they responsed so fast for the first one, and another one waited so long. I sent out message altogether and they just credited me the first one. Today just received 2 surveys with only 10 points (5 points still missing).

    A question, I chose “Notify me of follow up comments via email” below, but I didn’t see any reply email. I have checked my spam folder and junk mail folder, still not see the follow up email. This happens after I came here , a new review blog. Never happen before.

      OO is all over the place. So them being wun-key in responding to you is nothing new to me.

      Now about the “Notify me of follow up comments via email”. It maybe a very rare glitch via WordPress or even your Yahoo account. The reason, I say that is becuase I have had no one else. Thus far report the same issue. So that means ether it’s a brand new issue. Or I have yet to receive the complaint e-mails that are sure to follow.

      Try signing up again after you clear out your Internet cookies and cache.

    Yesterday I finally got 2 surveys, but only one survey credit to me, another one still nothing. Today I received one for 10 points in the morning, then received another one for 15 points, but don’t know why it direct me to a flags page said unable to record my participation. It shows the survey number in my survey history, but after I refreshed the page, it disappeared, I guess it’s an error survey, so they removed it. But I did complete it, I again sent a message with survey number to them, hope that they can credit me, also the missing one.

    OO just made me very disappointed and angry this week although I made 60 points. But 3 of the 25 points surveys just direct me to a flags page at the end of the survey and no one in the help desk response to my problem. I tried to call them, but they just keep you waiting and waiting, I have waited for an hours still no one pick up the phone.

    I supposed to have another 75 points this week. Like you said very glitch-y. But some people didn’t have the problem, they made over 100 points yesterday without any re-direct problem.

    Also in Mysurvey, same problem exists. The customer service seems to ignore my question, this is the first time. They keep sending me the same survey everyday.

    If I rate OO and MySurvey, both of them is 0.5 out of 5. But in survey police, they have high rate.

    Again, I still cannot receive the follow up comments via email. I have checked my yahoo email account, I didn’t change anything.

      There is a lot of glitch-y-ness going around. Don’t stress out to much Mana. Your getting to over concerned about all this. It’s suppose to be fun and done in your free time. It’s not a job. try to relax a little.

      The survey sites will work themselves out or die trying. If they remain full of glitches then they will not make it very long.

      If I complained every time I had an issue with a survey site or club. I would be e-mailing them daily. It would no longer be fun and enjoyable activity it would become a chore.

      Like, I said take it easy. If they are really putting the screws to you. Leave them for a bit and come back. There will always be sites that are up and running without issues. So go to them. Give them your time and effort.

      I give survey sites a review and a score for a reason. The scores out there are way too OVER INFLATED. Faked even. If they looked at all the survey sites I look at. during the same time frame I do they would change their minds and scores.

      I re-review all the sites every 3 or 4 months like it says. A lot can happen. During that time in-between.

      And don’t worry about the comment thing. WordPress will figure it out. Or just come on by when you log on. You should see a comment from me. If not then pick another new review. There are new survey site reviews every Monday.

      But, please try to keep it on topic. OO comment on an OO review or a MySurvey comment on a MySurvey review.

    All right! Then I will leave it for a while and go back later. I still have more than 300 points in OO, should I redeem them all or I should keep them in OO until I go back? Because some people said if you redeemed all the points from OO, they will think that you will not come back again and stop sending you new surveys.

    And I am telling you that I am a disability person, I alway stay in hospital and doing some surveys is one of my thing to do , I cannot walk around, move around, my area only inside the room. That’s why i am that worry about a trust survey site is become glitchy.

      Because some people said if you redeemed all the points from OO, they will think that you will not come back again and stop sending you new surveys.

      Reply to the comment above: That is 100% BS. I’ve redeemed all my points many times before. Sometimes I had no points at all. Sometimes I had an odd amount of points left. The main point is I never got left out in the cold. that maybe the new normal for OO. But I HIGHLY doubt it.

      Because in that case. They my as well tell you that they will charge you say 10 points for every $5 or $10 dollars you redeem which is insane. They want you to be happy, they want you to do their surveys. So I very much doubt they would ever do that.

      They may do that if you stop doing their surveys. They will for sure do that if you delete your account. Other then that or a glitch. Your good to go.

      Reply to the comment above: Ok so it matter more to you. As it is an outlet. But don’t over due it. If you harass the survey sites they will likely look down on you. Like saying ohhhh jezzzz this guy again, I wish he would just shut up already. We can’t be perfect all the time. Some survey sites may outright ban you. For sending them to many e-mails or posting to much on their social networking sites. I’ve seen that a few times.

      We have also had to do it via our site. With commentators who break our rules. So that is very much a real concern if you complain to much. But otherwise your good to go. Stay honest. Stay vigilant. And your good.

      Reply to the comment above: Your good in my books. Your a rabid reader, a hardcore fan. What ever you are keep on doing it. For as long as you want to do it for. I have no issue with it nor does my team. Just try not to over blow a situations that occurs a lot on survey sites. Such as glitch-y-ness or a day or more of downtime. It could be for 100′s of reasons. Just chill and keep track and your good.

      Please don’t over worry about. Common everyday issues that crop up. Or you will get sicker and this will become a chore and not fun and not rewarding at all for you.

      For us here at The Computer Savvy Weblog. It is very very good for us to know. When a site is down or when there are issues with a site. We factor that into our reviews. So thank you for your vigilantes in that area. But at the same time we expect that.

      As we all use the sites we review here. Minus of course the sites that do not caterer to where one of us may live. say web Perspectives for people who do not live in Canada.

      Other then that relax, breath and keep on reporting……

    OO really have technical issues. They have announced on the facebook and will need sometimes to fix the issues. They said that there is a problem when clicking “Take a survey” button and also there is a problem in survey history. I still can earned 55 points on Monday and Tuesday, and they credited me back the missing 35 points. They have less surveys this week, I only took the surveys they email me. I didn’t go to my account and click “Take a survey” button. I wil not log in until next Monday.

    So, let see if they really can fix the issues and back to normal again next week.

      Like I said before. I knew it was only a matter of time. Before they came forward and had to tell everybody. They were have technical issues.

      It does not surprise me they are having technical issues. And it does not surprise me it took them this long to admit it.

    OO came back again and 90% normal. i received 4 surveys in the morning, but i only completed one for 15 points. But at least I could receive surveys. Disqualification still the problem. The surveys show up in survey history after completed still very slow, need to wait for an hour to see the surveys I completed to show up in survey history, but they credited me first.

    About Mysurvey, there is only 1 survey on Sept 6 and nothing more. Their customer service become lazy just like OO.

      Thats good news I was gonna hit up OO sometime this week when I have some extra time. So it is good to know they are almost fully back up.

      Now about MySurvey. They have been great with the number of surveys available. But the sheer volume of time. It takes to get credited with the points you earn is overwhelmingly getting worse (slower).

    I think it’s very hard to win and I don’t expect any of it. Also their system still unstable. It’s too early to say OO is back to normal again. Today I received 8 surveys, but only 1 completed. People are complaining in the facebook.

      That’s nothing really new. OO has had sweepstakes type draws going back to even before I joined up. So, this is probably more a of a way of trying to appease their angry users. Not a very good one at all. But at least their is some effort being put into it.

      Other then that. It is nice to get updates on their Facebook page. As I don’t par-take in Facebook and would have no way of knowing what is being said there. About them.

    Today i found that I cannot login to my account in OO, do you have this problem? I have over 500 points inside. I want to redeem it today, but it cannot login, it just said “Please try again”. I don’t know what’s wrong.

      I just tried logging in and it worked for me. But again it did not work via the survey invite. I had to go to the home page and enter my password and such.
