WARNING: There have been a large number of complaints we have received related to Opinion Outpost being very glitch-y. We have also received reports of Opinion Outpost freezing some peoples accounts. So they are no longer able to redeem their points for any of the Opinion Outpost cash out options. In both of the above cases both myself and my team have been affected by the above issues to some degree. So we found it paramount to disclose this information to anyone wanting to sign-up with this site.

Overall Rating: 1.5 out of 5 – Opinion Outpost is yet again having MAJOR administration issues (Mostly log-in and tracking issues. But more recently. We have been getting quite a few reports about Opinion Outpost freezing peoples accounts. So they can no longer use any of the cash out options.). But the main issues of the past 3 months that sticks out to me are. There has been a major increase in the overall difficulty of qualifying for the reward promised. I have often found myself almost 50% or more into a survey. When I am kicked out for little to no reason (What So Ever). I don’t even get the screen. That asks me if I want to try for Instant Prize/Donate/ or Leave. That is honestly a really rather sad situation. When we put in the time and effort into said survey. And receive ABSOLUTELY nothing in return, other then the run around or just really rather lame excuses why it is our fault. That to me is just unacceptable.

Extra Important Information: You must complete your full profile as well as update it at least once a year. To continue to receive your survey invites from Opinion Outpost. If you fail to do so, Opinion Outpost will just stop sending you survey invites to you without any warning at all.

    There is still no survey for me today, I received 5 surveys yestereday but all disqualified. The help desk just gave me 10 goodwill points. This is the worst week I ever had in OO. They keep asking me to update my profile, but I just updated my profile last Friday. Do you think I should update it again? There is one thing I feel weird, I need to enter my login email and password for every section in my profile, are you the same when updating profile?

    I received 2 surveys which have no points, they said this is profile survey, so that I can receive more surveys in the future. I don’t know it’s true or not.

      Reply: I had a few surveys. I made 67 points between This week and last week. But thus far I have been getting blank invites. Press here to start survey and such. This week I got about 10 of those. Not sure if it was done on purpose or on error. Regardless, I always keep one in my inbox and delete the rest.

      There is one thing I feel weird, I need to enter my login email and password for every section in my profile, are you the same when updating profile?

      Reply: Yes, I have encountered this a number of times. Both when updating my profile or trying to look at my survey history or trying to cash out. All but the cash out reason makes sense. They want to make sure it is you cashing out. Good for them happy to hear it. But the rest of the reasons are just plain stupid and make you waste a lot of time and effort.

      Go figure. I thought I was the only one having that issue. Good to know I am not.

        Oh, you made 67 points between this week and last week? Hmm, I made 100 points between this week and last week. This week I made no point. The 10 points were given by help desk, a goodwill points. All 5 surveys only on yesterday, all disqualified. Today I got nothing. I also receive survey invitations almost everyday, but all of them direct to a page said “no new survey avaliable…”.

        I think I should stay down for a week or 2. I remember that I didn’t receive any survey after updated my profile last year, then you told me to stop for a week, after that I can receive survey almost everyday. Hope this work this time.

        I will redeem half of the points which remains in the account , I wtill have over 500 points left.Haha!!

        About the other 2 survey website , mysurvey and globaltestmarket, they also didn’t have any survey this week.
        Only some profile survey with no points.

          Reply: That sounds like complete BS on their part. I have never heard of such an insane lame idea. It’s almost as bad as having to log-in every time you want to update something. Well I guess they can do what ever they want as they do make the rules.

          About the other 2 survey website , mysurvey and globaltestmarket, they also didn’t have any survey this week.

          Reply: Well for me they did and so did my team. I guess you win some you lose some. Survey sites are like that they don’t make a lick of sense. One of the many reasosn when I review a survey site I don’t just depend on my view of the site I look at what my team thinks and people such as your as yourself.

            Today I finally received 3 surveys, 2 of them completed, another one keep looping , go back to first question and result as not qualified. Today I made 20 points.

            The help desk told me that the “GENERALINVITES” shows up in my survey history is a faulty survey, he told me to delete the invite and update your profile and I’ll be on the way to taking a new survey through the dashboard. They ‘ll also forward my feedback to the proper parties in charge of managing surveys so they may take further actions if necessary, and avoid sending surveys that do not match to my profile. I don’t know if this is right or not. What do you think? Do you think I should listen to him and update my profile?

            This message look like they are controlling, if I am not follow what they said, they will not release surveys.

            Reply: Well Mana. It won’t kill you if you redo your profile again. Even if you had to do it every month for the rest of the year. That would be like maybe an 1hr of your time. I guess give it ago and see if it indeed yields divided ends.

            Reply: Now that sounds super paranoid to me Mana on your part. Take that breather I always recommend. No matter what happens this is not the end of the world. It seems they are just trying to help you out. If they wanted to block you or cancel your account at OO they would have quite a few months ago. So you have that going for you.

            Just Mana please I beg you. Don’t make their lives more complicated then it has to be then they will ether not respond to you or they will indeed block you. I have seen it done before when people get up in their face to much. Best thing t do is chill. And don’t ring or e-mail them every time you have an issue right away. Problems will crop up it is after all modern day technology.

            Which I don’t need to tell you that is less then perfect at the best of times. That’s what I do for a living fixing computers. So put a little faith in me and just let it run it course.

    Today I found that there are many people compliant on OO facebook about the survey. They all have the same problem with me, quota full, disqualified, not receive any survey or few surveys.

    Last Friday, I updated my profile again, but until today I still didn’t receive any new survey, strange thing is I always receive “GENERALINVITES” survey invitation email, last week, I received 2 of them, this survey has no points, no question, but it will show up in survey history and result as “Started, not completed”. The help desk just ask me to ingorne this invitation and update my profile. The technical team is looking into it.

    I remember that I received something like this a long time ago, it kept sending me invitations and showed up in survey history, but after a few compliants, it disappeared in a few weeks.

    I just received 1 survey from Globaltestmarket, it’s 60 points and I successfully completed. This is the highest post I ever got.

    Actually, not only OO, mysurvey and globaltestmarket also have no survey last week or just 1 or 2 survey. Weird!

      Thanks for the heads up, about the Facebook chatter about OO. It’s sometimes nice to know that your not the only one with issues. When it comes to these types of sites.

        The help desk told me to disregard all the “GENERALINVITES” survey invitation emails and delete them. Also report to them, so that they know how many people involved.
        There is good and bad people in help desk. A representative name “John”, he always not like to help and always told me to clear the cache memory and update the profile. A lady always helps, she is very good. She always gives me bonus points for some disquaified surveys if I spent more than 5 minutes. Today she just gave me another 10 points for 2 disqualified surveys last Friday.
        But until now, I still didn’t receive any survey. Weird.

        Disqualification still happens continuously. I am very disappointed about OO, so I decided to stop doing survey for a week. MySurvey has tthe same problem. I stuck in 300 points since last redeem (a month).

          All I can say is don’t place all your bets and or faith in one survey site. Go else where if all you are getting is problems. I reviewed a number of sites. Try another one or go out and look on Google for one I have not yet to review. (It’s doubtful you’ll find one a have not at least mentioned. But it is possible)

            I am concentrate on Globaltestmarket and angus reid forum right now. Just got 60 points from Global and $2.5 from angus. I guess I will need 1 more month to get a cheque from global and a cheque in another 3 months. But I still hope that OO and mysurvey can go back to normal again.

    OO started not to answer my question, today I received 1 survey, but a message said that “Thank you for trying, but we don’t have survey match you…” Also received an invitation , but the link direct me to flags page. They didn’t reply to me for the above questions. So I guess I should stop for a while even there is problem.

        Just read from OO facebook, look like I m not the only one who cannot receive survey for the past 2 weeks. There are many people come up and said they also didn’t receive, receive less , completed to the end then error, flags page…etc. I think OO is having technical problem again and they don’t want to tell you that. Today I received some replies which i sent to help desk 24-48 hours ago, I guess they have tons of emails to reply. All about cannot receive survey problem or other issues.

        Hmm.. i guess i will stop doing survey for a few day, maybe until next week, and watch OO facebook.

        Yesterday night and today I received 2 invitations but direct me to flags page. Another representative email me today said they will not ask their clients to stop sending me survey which is not match my profile. She said there might be some misunderstanding or one of their crews made a mistake. She said i still can receive survey by clicking “Take a survey” button, but now they need to investigate for what happen.

          I bet it’s comforting somewhat. That your not the only one with these issues , glitches. Whatever you want to call them. There is no doubt that my next OO review will reflect the mounting issues with the survey panel that is OO.

          I really rather like OO. But the people need to know that if they join up. There is strong potential for this same issues to arise. Now only if I trusted Facebook. I would be on the same page. But I don’t. So I shall have to rely on both yourself and the rest of (CSW) readership to reports these type of issues to me. So I can make a better determination of the next OO final review score and any possible disclaimers. (That I may need to attach to said review.)

            OO really have technical issue now. I cannot login to the website, it said runtime error. Also the same person from help desk replied to me with same question I asked, first time, he told me to update the profile in order to receive more surveys, seond time, he told me that they are having technical issue right now, some people cannot receive survey and complete survey. Look like he doesn’t recognize me. One question two different answers.

        Today I received a reply from Help desk, it’s from a lady who always helps me. She told me that she has reset my account and asked me to see if I can receive surveys again. I received and completed 3 surveys in the afternoon. I thought everytthing is fine, but in the evening, I received another 2 surveys. First one is about candy, I have completed it to the end, the final message said “Thank you for participated this survey, you have sucessfully completed this study, please click “Next” to continue, then I click next, it direct me to a page said I am not qualify. This is a 15 points survey, so I guess I should email them. The second one is a 5 points survey, I also completed but at the end it gave me a flags page , also the survey number didn’t show up in my survey history. But I have made a screen shot of first page and final page of this survey. I hope they can give me back the total of 30 points.

        They still have problem. Mysurvey also have glitch problem, every survey I received said I am not eligible to participate, don’t know why’s wrong. Or gave me error page at the end. I still stuck at 200 points for 3 weeks.

          I was able to get in to OO and I went from 67 points last week to 100 points in total this week. I don’t seem to have any issues with OO other then that annoying issues with needing to log in every few clicks.

          On MySurvey it seems to be more and more common place not to be able to do the bulk of surveys. I was only able to do 3 surveys and a purchases Journal. I get those every few months and they are worth at least 1,000 points. If you completely fill it out.

          I asked around and that survey type is very rare as it is worth so many points. But I have been doing them for at least 3 years. So, I guess they figure I’ll continue to do them and submit them on time.

          I did mention the above type in my last MySurvey review.

            Last week was a fantastic week in OO, I earned 175 points since Feb 7, but this week I only received and completd 2 surveys. I keep clicking “Take a survey” button, but nothing.

            And the race and win event, the help desk said there is a car right above my survey history on my dashboard, I just click on it and will receive some bonus points. But I didn’t see any car , I have sent a message to help desk again. Seems OO don’t have much survey again this week.

            Also no luck in MySurvey, I only received 5 surveys this months and only received 10 , 35, 50 points surveys. All surveys which have 100, 150 , and 500 are result as not qualify and error. They also started not response to me.

            I think the best is Globaltestmarket, I almost earn 1000 points, I hope I can redeem it next month. I also hope that OO can have more surveys to me.

    Today I received and completed all 4 surveys, totally 50 points, but there is 25 points still didn’t credit to me. I have sent them 2 messages this morning and this evening, but still didn’t receive any response from them. I hope they will reply to me tommorrow morning or upload the points automatically tonight or later time. Now I can receive average 10 to 15 points a day in OO, I hope they can keep in this way. About the race and win event, the help desk told me that this event is only for US resident.

    I finally received surveys and points from MySurvey today since the first week of Feb. I hope they fixed the problem. I need the extra money to buy a pair of heel boots even I cannot walk normally.

    There is one thing I still don’t understand why OO keeps asking my gender and age, I have already told them I am female and twenty something.

      OO keep on asking you the same age and sex question because it is a very common screen-er. A lot os survey sites use it as their base line. Sometimes it will come from the survey site themselves other times it the company that contracted them to conduct the survey.

      Bess not to get hung up on that. Because it is super quick to do. All be it annoying to see 10 times in a row.

        OO just gave me back the missing 25 points today because of technical problem and they have to upload the points manually. Today I received 3 surveys but only 1 can be done. Another 2 just weird. First one, the survey number is not start fro ORD, it’s S500AU 4K, but it didn’t work, just gave me an error page at the end. The second one also gave me a blank page. These 2 surveys result as “Started, not completed”. This happened 4 weeks ago too. At that time, I cannot receive any survey after help desk told me that they have technical problems which hard to fix. I hope this time is not like that.

        I made a screen shot of the blank page survey, hope that they can find the problem.

            The help desk fixed the problem and marked the surveys as completed and gave me back the points. I earned over 120 points this week. I have totally over 300 points in my account, supposed to cash out today, but they have problem cash out with paypal. Keeps giving me error, I cannot cash out the money. In OO facebook, I see some people also cannot cash out the money since this Monday and no one come out to say something and fix the problem. This is my first time having this issue, so I am little worry about it. I have tried many times for 3 hours, still error occur. Can you try and see if this is happen to you or not? Thank you!

            I know I am not Remy. But I can indeed comment on this subject. Where as Remy can’t at the moment. Nice to meet you by the way. I’ve heard your one of our more hardcore readership.

            Well, to get straight to the point. I’m not sure if you know my job as Comment Moderator and Community Manager for (CSW). But I am the one who deals and re-directs the e-mails to the right staffers. So I get the complaints first.

            So I can indeed say “Yes, there have been a few very scattered reports of (payouts / cash outs) issues with Opinion Outpost. but no mean alarming at this point. I’m sure in this case it is a server connection issue. there maybe some maintenance on ether OO side or PayPal’s side.

            I would also caution you STRONGLY against trying to cash out. If you ever encounter any type of ERROR messages. You could end up causing yourself with more headaches and problems. By virtue of your own hand. If there is an error. It is very unwise to risk money / points what ever you want to call it. Just for some fleeting hope you will be able to on your 6th or 7th attempt.

            Any type of error message or stop screen is trying to tell you that. You should take it as a GIANT caution or stop sign.

            I’m sure Remy would tell you the same thing. Actually I’m sure of it. Not only that I’m sure anyone on our team would also agree.

    Nice to meet you and please tell Remy a happy birthday for me.

    This is my first time to have a cash out problem, so I am very worry and nervous about it. A few minutes ago, I tried again and cash out successfully, but it took more than 5 seconds as it said.

    This month is the most successful month because I received and completed many surveys without error. I can have 40 to 50 points average each day. I hope that they can keep it like this.

        After 4 weeks of success in OO, it seems the error issue comes back again this week. Although I made 46 points this week, today I received 5 surveys but all of them have errors. Look like the problem is from the client’s surveys, some of them without options to choose, blank page, looping…etc. Have you receive this survey ORD-82647-PQRY_2? It’s about beverage. I get stuck when the progress bar reached 58%. Have tried many times, still the same, no options for me to choose. I have sent a message with screenshots, hope that they can fix the problem or at least give me some points.

        5 surveys totally 50 points. Also I found that the response from help desk is very slow , I have a missing points survey on Monday and they responsed on Tuesday. So slow!! I wish they can solve my 5 surveys’ problem.

        MySurvey is getting worse and worse, they informed me that they are not responsible for any problem or issue with the survey anymore if there is any. Their customer service is changed to 2pm to 4 pm , not 9 to 5 anymore. They sent me some weird survey such as some form, asked me to fill in my purchase from my mastercard and debit card. I sent a message to them last friday, but they didn’t help me out. And there is no survey since last Friday.

            I think you might be very busy. But I would like to update about OO and other surveys site.

            Last week was a fantastic week, I received and completed tons of surveys. I earned more than 200 points a week. That’s great, isn’t it? I found that after I received a survey invitation email call “GENERALINVITES_3″, I will receive many surveys. Today I received 1 again, but this week I only received 1 survey with only 5 points, weird, eh? Now I am using firefox 19.02 because I found some problems using facebook and some websites.

            About Mysurvey, I thought it comes back, last week I received 3 surveys with total of 450 points. But very weird, the customer service didn’t answer my every problems and errors. There are 2 surveys which is closed and have problem, I sent them messages since last month, but no one reply to me and those 2 problem surveys are still in my account. Also found that their customer service hours changed to 2 pm to 4 pm every day. So I guess there is no one got my messages with the short service hour.

            About Globaltestmarket, I finally reached another 1000 points last week. But do you think I should wait after easter holiday for redemption?
