I just wanted to write into Fan Mail Friday. As I am a very new blogger. I was wondering if you guys ever used an “SEO“ to boot your Google page rating / ranking ?

Remy’s Answer: First off great question. No we have had MANY offers from SEO’s asking us that they could improve all sorts of stuff for us. But right from the get go. Danny, Matt and myself (Remy). Are firm on the use of any type of SEO’s. We have never needed them and we certainly don’t need them now.
The down side to not using advertisement (Other then social media) and SEO’s. Is that you have to put A LOT of extra effort from your end. To achieve the same results. You will need to post every day and you will need to use the social media sites out there. Like Twitter , Digg, Goggle +.
Danny’s Answer: We may of needed help at first from an SEO type company about 5 or so years ago. But now. There is very little they can do to convince us. That we are not rated well. I check (CSW) everyday on Google. And even outside Canada, the US, Britain and Norway. We are always on the first page of the Google results wise and we are even with in the top 5 results (On that page).
So yeah it would be pointless, for such a small gain regards to the overall page rating / ranking on Google.
