Q: Is AVG Free Anti-Virus 2012 Compatible With Windows 98 ?
A: No, AVG Free Anti-Virus 2012 it is not compatible with Windows 98. I maybe mistaken but I believe at this point there is no main stream anti-virus options that will go as far back as Windows 98. Unless you have a really old version of AVG, AVIRA or AVAST. Which I would not advise. In any case. As you would not be protected from current threats as well as at least 5 years of back log virus definitions you would have missed. You may get way with it if you don’t use the Internet at all. But even that you are treading on very dangerous grounds.
