Overall Rating: 3 out of 5 – Opinion Outpost is yet again having administration issues (Mostly log-in and tracking issues thus far). But the main issue of the past 3 months that sticks out to me are. There has been a major increase in the overall difficulty of qualifying for the reward promised. I have often found myself almost 50% or more into a survey when I am kicked out for little to no reason. I don’t even get the screen. That asks me if I want to try for Instant Prize/Donate/ or Leave. That is honestly very very sad when we put in the time and effort into said survey.

Now on to the best part of the surveys you can answer in full you should expect between 5 – 50 points or $0.50 to $5 USD.

Extra Important Information -PART 1: First off a major heads up to you all out there. Opinion Outpost is under going MAJOR renovations to the site as a whole. They are also splitting the site into 1 tailoring the their US clients and 1 for their Canadian clients

Extra Important Information -PART 2: You must complete your full profile as well as update it at least once a year. To continue to receive your survey invites from Opinion Outpost. If you fail to do so, Opinion Outpost will just stop sending you survey invites to you without any warning.

    I have reward $ 15 for Citi Bank prepaid virtual accont and Citi Bank doesn’t paid . What happen ? Is a joke ?

      Dear Dumitru Florea,

      Did you win the Citi Bank prepaid card as an instant prize ? Or did you redeem your points for it ? Ether way the item is an actual pre-loaded card (It looks and works like a credit or debit card. Thou some location will not except it).

      You need the actual card and that will take 3 – 6 weeks to arrive. If they still maintain that time line.

      Other then the above information. I would need more information to help you out and answer your question.

    I joined the opinion outpost on November 2011. For the past 2 months, opinion points are easy to earn. But don’t know why, since January 1 ,2012, it’s very hard to earn one. It’s always said “Doesn’t meet criteria”. From Jan 1 to Jan 4, I can only completed 2 surveys out of 13 surveys.
    I have contacted the customer service, but no one have the satisfy answers. Sometimes in the middle of the survey, when click “next”, it will direct me to a blank page, or a page said “you are not qualify”.

      Dear Boris,

      I have not heard of this issues with Opinion Outpost thus far. But I know other survey sites have had the same issues. My best advice is get rid of all your cookies and your temporary Internet files.

      The best way to do this is to use CCleaner (Which is free). Here is the to Cleaner: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

      But a word of warning you will be removing a lot of saved data. So all you passwords will have to be re-enter and all your website preferences will be reset. You won’t lose your passwords if you are using Firefox or IE.

      **Unless you choose in the CCleaners options to delete your saved passwords.

    I have cleared all the cookies and temp internet files everytime I go offline. I also have ccleaner and clear data everytime. But the problem still there. I finally have replies from Opinion outpost, a representative said there are technical problems in all the surveys I have reported. He went to my account and found that all the surveys which i participated have the same problem “Doesn’t meet criteria”. He said he will pass this issue to technical department and will repair the website and those surveys.

    Today, there is no survey when I click “take a survey”. I guess they are fixing the problem.

    Before this problem, it’s very easy to earn points, but since Jan 2, it’s very hard to earn. When the representative went to my account, he also surprised that almost all of the surveys I participated were not qualify.

    I hope they can fix the problem soon.

      I agree with you 100% it is getting harder and harder to earn points. Even thou it appears they have increased the number of survey invites.

        yeah, I complained about this by contacting opinion outpost. A representative replied to me said that there will be less or no survey today because they are implementing a new program to lessen the instance of this happening and get things going as soon as possible.
        I hope they are working on it and become normal as before.

            Yesterday I have received an email from the technical team of Opinion Outpost. He said they have finished repairing and gave me one 5 points example and I completed it.

            But today it goes back to the problem again, I can complete 3 surveys, at the beginning of these surveys, said I am qualify to continue, but after asking me some opinions, it said that’s all for the survey and asked me to click on “complete” button, but it just direct me to a page said that I am not qualify. The total points of those 3 surveys is 65 points.

            I contact them again, but the answer is “That’s all we could do for you, your account has no problem, the survey has no problem. We only can do is apologies”. Ha! what kind of attitude is that?

And said after they collect all the complete IDs from the companies, they will add the points to my account. What does that mean? Participate the survey, got no point, and have to wait for the completed list?

    I feel that I am in a black list.

      Wow this is really getting to be a big deal. Understandably, I can see your anger and frustration with this situation.

      I have honestly never seen anything approaching this level of complication. Dealing with any sort of administration error with any survey site or club. (Until now).

      Answer: This I’ve seen. There is a few different types of codes that are related to surveys.

      1. Your Membership ID code / number

      2. The survey code. It usually looks like this. (AUS11111123453)

      3. The survey activation code. It means you have pressed on the link in the e-mail or on the website. Meaning you at least attempted it.

      4. The completion code. This is the proof you have ether qualified for the survey and got the reward. Or you failed to qualify for the survey and got kicked out. But you at least went threw the process of the survey to the last stage possible.

      **Now the last code can be automatic meaning you will get the points right away like Opinion Outpost normally does it. But sometimes in many many other survey sites before getting your reward (points or money) The company will look over your answers to see if you cheated or lied about key info. (Meaning the survey answers don’t match your survey site profile.)

      So in short they have to wait for a completion code from their client(s). Proving to them you actually did the survey and they actually have you registered for that survey. And you finished the survey to whatever level they needed you to get to.

      ***But, I have to admit. I have only seen this in the SUPER RARE CASES. Normally the survey site and client company(s) have the same survey codes. So other then having to wait to the survey closes. Most sites can give you your money or points. With little to no interaction from their client companies.

      So I have to agree with you. This is indeed a set of really really strange string of circumstances. I’ll have to ask around myself. Just to see if this issues crops up with anyone else. But in saying that. I normally would have my inbox stuffed full of complaints, if this were widespread. The other possibility is that after I publish this reply I just may get that inbox full of e-mails about Opinion Outpost admin errors.

      So other then that. Please let us know about any further developments about your issues with Opinion Outpost…..

    No new survey today and no reply from customer service even I email them 4 times. Look like I am in their black list. I found that there are full of complains and with same problem like I have in OO facebook, some of their accounts are frozen, no new survey, cannot redeem for cash…etc.

    I don’t know what next….

    After 2 quiet days with no survey, I tried OO again, it has 2 surveys in the morning, one is 15 points and another one is 5 points. But both of them just direct me to a page said “You are not qualify to continue”. The problem still exists. I thought they have fixed the problem because the representative told me they will fix the problem after the weekend.

    The first survey just asked me the age, gender, and province I live, then said I am not qualify. Second one started asking me opinions but it suddenly said “You are not…..”. Some people said their accounts have been frozen, I am afraid that my account will be one of them, so I redeemed the rest of the points, couple hundreds to paypal before frozen.

    Don’t know what happen to OO, it’s getting hard and hard to complete the survey.

      If I too see any that my or any of my members accounts have been frozen I too may just cash out. I would hate to lose all that time and effort. But as it stand at this point. So far so good. So I am hoping it stays that way but if not. Next time I review them. I’ll be sure to pre-warn people about their account administration issues.

      I am sad to say this is not their first time they have had a warning placed on a review I did. If I remember correctly it was about a 1 or 2 years back where there were some issues. But they resolved it with in 3 months after the new year.

      In this case they have ungraded their whole site and how they do things. So I imagine it did not go as smoothly as they would of liked. But at this point like I said I have only heard of your case thus far and I’ll hold out hope for my own account and that of my team.

    Today I received 4 surveys but none of them qualify. Problem still not solve so I email OO about it, but no one reply to me again. I guess I am in their blacklist, that means if they saw my name in email and talk about this, just ignored the question. So I guess I should disappear for a while and see if their survey still has same problem or not.

    i have tried other survey website like globaltestmarket, but it seems they have the same problem. Lightspeed consumer panel has no problem, I just got 800 points, but still need 310 points to redeem for cash. They don’t have new survey since last month.

    Any good survey website suggestion? Just like OO , can redeem for cash.

      Answer: Yes I do. Please feel free to look at our list of our survey site reviews on our main REVIEWS -page- @ http://computersavvy.wordpress.com/reviews/ . Just read the reviews and get back to me is you have any more questions. We re-review each survey site every 3 or 4 months. So we keep a very tight grip on them. To see if they are screwing with people or not and or if they are legit or not.

      **There are of course other survey sites or clubs. But theses are the best both myself and my team have come up with. Also we have been with them all for almost 4 years if not more.
