Dear Remy,

First off, I wanted to say I love your scam watch work. But I wanted to point out the scam watch featured entitled “Scam Watch: JustAnswer.com Is It A Scam ? Or Is It Just A Really Bad Investment ?” for one main reason. The author who is listed “Nico” does not seem to have an Avatar. (Such as your “black Se7en movie logo” or Danny’s “bell”) Is there a reason for that ? or is it just an oversight ?

Reply: Well, first off “Scam “Watcher“. I assure you there is no big conspiracy here. Nico started out as a guest blogger for (CSW) and therefore never needed or required a avatar also known as a gavatar in WordPress terms. Even thou since then he has indeed been promoted from just a guest blogger to a junior editor for the site. But as it stands now that is only in reaction to his work with JA.com feature and his continued dedication to his post and (CSW) as a whole.

So basically until he becomes a regular writer to the site and or a head admin. He will remain avatar-less. That is unless of course he starts his own WordPress blog. But I assure you that is not a knock against him as a person, a writer or a knock against his credibility in anyway.

But I will take your e-mail and it’s subject matter under serious advisement.

FrostWire (4.21.8) ……………May 16th, 2011

* Fixes a possible freeze reported by some users when the configuration
wizard is shown.

* Fixes issue when a user changes default Gnutella Save Folder
and unchecks Sharing finished downloads. Individually shared
files from the old Save Folder would still be shared.
Now all individually shared files will be unshared if you uncheck
this setting.

* Now users don’t have to re-start to stop seeding after they’ve changed
their torrent Seeding Configuration. All torrents old and new will stop
seeding as soon as the setting is applied.

* Better wording to explain on which networks files are being shared on,
Gnutella or BitTorrent.

* Changed color of “Sharing Options” gear icon to blue, gray
icon may have seemed as if the button was disabled.

* Added “Sharing Options” gear button on Search Tab. It’s only visibleonce a search has been started.

* Added Help Menu options to learn about how to share/unshare files,

AVG Free Anti-Virus 9.0.XXX Support Will Be Ending Sometime Soon

Dear Readers,

It appears support for the last AVG version will be ending sometime in the very near future. This version of course would be the 9.0.xxx version of AVG Free. I also imagine the paid version will also be effected as well. But I don’t have confirmation on that.

Blog Update #169 – (CSW) Moves To New Summer Hours

Dear Readers,

Well just as the sun rises and it gets hotter outside. We have come to that time again where we all try to take some time off. In short at some point some of our staff will be taking their turn at sitting by the pool with their feet up.

But don’t let the above statement be mistaken for saying (CSW) will not being posting new content. That could not be further from the truth. Their will always be at least 1 of the 3 head admins on duty ether Danny, Matt and of course myself (Remy) will be on duty.

You should still expect the same level of attention just more spaced out time wise. How that will look at this point we have not fully figured out as of yet. But it should not effect our comment and or e-mail reply systems.

So there will still be a Blog Update every week , a Survey Site review, a Spybot change log update and of course our Fan Mail Friday feature. There will also be staggered news, reviews and regularly updated content you have come to love and expect from (CSW) these past 3 years.
