New Mozilla FireFox 4.0 Beta 6 Is Now Available To Download

Dear Readers,

It appears that Mozilla FireFox has a new 4.0 Beta 6 version available to download in a ton of different languages to suit you taste and background.

** I personally have not downloaded this new beta version as of yet. But a few of our members plan too.

So I can’t say I would recommend it because it is still in the Beta stage. But if you do give it a whirl by all means let us know what you think and I’ll post it..

Overall rating: 1 out of 5 – This survey company is great if you are really lucky. I have done a few very high paying  journal type surveys and they not only pay well. But they payout rather fast. But like I said you have to be really really lucky. Also important to note is there are a few more surveys compared to my last review way back in June 2010.

EXTRA INFO: NPD online research panel is the only survey site. That has proved itself to be honest in their sweepstakes contests. Both myself and many of my members and friends have won at one time or another.

WebMail Notifier (2.4.9)

A. Ease of use: 4.5/5 – Very easy to setup multiply e-mail account on several different freemail account. Such as Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo, GMail and many many more.

B. Security: 0/5 (Very Un-secure) – It gives you a by-pass of all password and user name. Not recommended for shared computers or for high security e-mail accounts.

BB. Other Important Security Information:  Just remember your passwords and usernames are viewable in FireFox Options. Under Security “Saved Passwords”

C. Usefulness: 4/5 – If you are lazy like me or have a really bad memory go for it. Just remember you are at risk of your account being hijacked.

D. FireFox Slowdown: None

E. Computer Slow Down: None

F. Type of user I would recommend to use this add-on: I would only recommend this add-on for people who are unable to use e-mail without assistance. If you are good with the Internet and other Freemail accounts such as MSN, Gmail, Yahoo and have a good memory. Please try to avoid this potentially massive security risk.

Reply:  Well, first off it helps to have a fairly large blog team. One of us always has some sort of idea what to cover. But I do have to give some props to Remy he seems to organizes the chaos and always seems to have a plan of action.

But all kidding aside a lot of time and effort is needed from the whole team to make it even remotely possible.  Seriously Eddy just because it has posted by Remy or myself (Danny) it does not mean some of the other membership had their hands in there helping us out.

We also get suggestions from you guys all the time and that goes double for our Scam Watch feature.

Q: “When might we see EPD #25 – WTF: My E-bay Adventure ?

A: Honestly Eddy. I am not sure but I am trying to stick to once or twice a month time table. But needless to say it will be featured in that weeks blog update.  So you will know the Sunday and then it will go up on Thursday or Friday.

Firefox 3.6.9 fixes the following issues found in previous versions of Firefox 3.6:

• Introduced support for the X-FRAME-OPTIONS HTTP response header. Site owners can use this to mitigate clickjacking attacks by ensuring that their content is not embedded into other sites.
• Fixed several security issues.
• Fixed several stability issues.
