Q: Is Ipsos i-say Survey Panel A Scam ?
A: First off I do admit i-say does seem like rather poor quality survey site at the moment. But that does not make Ipsos i-say survey panel a scam. There is a major lack of surveys for more then a few months now. But Ipsos i-say panel as far as I am concerned has yet to reach the definition of a scam survey site. But I will keep you guys posted…if they do…..

Hello from Russia!
Can I quote a post in your blog with the link to you?
Dear Polprav,
Yes as long as you give me the link to said post…

I have been with Ipsos I-Say Panel since 5/7/09. Since then, I have been invited to do 36 surveys, half of which I have qualified for. In that time, I have received 130 points (they give you one point if you do not qualify at all and I have gotten at most, eight points for any one survey).
Their surveys aren’t very long. I have never spent more than 25 minutes on a survey. While they aren’t a scam, per se, they work out (for me) to pay about $2.12 an hour, so it isn’t very worthwhile, either.
Dear PepGiraffe,
Actually very interesting how you worked that out..I guess you are right with time VS. Dollars. Still regardless it is not the best one out there but a nice survey site none the less.
Thanks for your comment,
Remy “Se7en”
what is the best legitimate one? i have a computer and nothing but time on my hands right now.
Dear Tara,
My top 3 legit ones are…
1. Web Perspectives
2. Opinion Outpost
3. Global Test Market
You can find them all on Google or via my reviews category…Then scroll down to Survey Sites or Survey Clubs…you should be able to find plenty of up to date reviews on all the major survey sites..
Thanks for your comment,
Remy
The ones that have given me the most amount of money for time spent are:
1) Opinion Place
2) Knowledge Panel
3) Valued Opinions
However, you won’t do surveys for them very often. You should also try looking at:
1) Synovate
2) Opinion Outpost
3) Harris Interactive
Dear PepGiraffe,
thanks for the heads up..I am very aware of all of them you mentioned….
Thanks for your comment,
Remy
Hey there. I actually work for i-Say and it’s definitely not a scam. I’m a copywriter there for the online team. I make ads, write website copy and run the Facebook pages, blog etc.
Hope this helps a little. :)
Dear Dave,
It is great to hear from someone who works at i-say. But I also don’t feel i-say is a scam. But I had to address the issue because I had so many people asking me about it.
Thanks for the comment,

Hey Remy :) I also ended up here looking up info on the company i work for. I take care of surveys to take an online form and gather all answers from you guys. Making sure you guys get your points/money is something we handle partially (=points) and we do not overlook it. Not getting into the entire philosophy here but each survey has an accurate report on what points were awarded.
Cool to think that you may have answered one of the surveys I manage :)
Dear jdgmental,
I have to admit angst it is always a pleasure. When I run into a person who has something (directly or indirectly) to do with the subject matter of the post and or feature (I have written).
So thanks for the quick comment and I hope to run into you yet again sometime soon,
Remy “Se7en”
Hey Remy “Se7en”,
If ‘jdgmental’ thinks its so cool that you may have answered one of his surveys, maybe you can ask him(or her) why a responder to the surveys are having points stolen or not recorded to certain prizes. Are they afraid that people, outside their circle, might actually win and recommend their site to other people so that they might have a larger reponse group to their surveys???
Dear Ron,
I was unaware they were still having issues. I know that it appears they dramatically cut the number of people who actually get survey invites. But other then that like I said I had no idea.
But I’ll do my best to look into it and report back….
Thanks for the comment,

Remy”Se7en”,
The issues that you are speaking of are only the ones that you know of. Try putting “Ipsos I-Say” into your Yahoo or Google web search engine and you’ll see a lot of sites with complaints, including their own “News Feed” under “How do you like these winners?”
Dear Ron,
Your are indeed correct. I report generally on any issues that ether my team comes up with or our readership report to us. Via our scam watch team and or review team.
I’m very aware they have had a real rough patch over the past 2 / 2 1/2 years. But as you suggested I’ll get my team to dig a bit to see what they come up with.
Thanks for the heads up and your comment…..
