Ok this is probably the 100th Q I have received on this matter…regarding the infamous AVG Free Anti-Virus Toolbar…So since you guys asked so nicely here is the answer…

Q: Does AVG Toolbar affect My Main AVG Anti-Virus Program ?

A: Disabling or removing the AVG Free Anti-Virus toolbar should not affect AVG Free Anti-virus Core function such as scanning and or updating.
