LimeWire Free P2P Version 4.18.8 – Software Review

So welcome everyone…this is my second new gen P2P software review…..Enjoy

Con’s

- Drastically reduced download speed….compared to PRO

- Sources are reduced in this version…but that is to be expected

- Huge Paging file hog

- Not very effective to download more then 1-3 songs at a time (very lame)

- Can take awhile to find sources and or get off queued or downloading from a busy source…HUGE DOWNER

- There is a minor pop-up that says..no licensee found..PLEASE DON’T INFRINGE ANY COPYRIGHTS ( But is does not affect the song and can be de-activated…) YEAH

Pro’s

- Free

- Can find pretty much song you could ever want

- Very, Very easy to use search feature

- Has No social networking integrated (Thank G-D hard to find these dayz)

Over all I give this a 3.5 out of 5 – This is by far in the top 5 of the best for finding and downloading music….but if you are looking to download movies, books, and so on.. uTorrent is still the best way to go…
