This is a Promotion Scam Addresses:
What is “This is a Promotion SCAM“ : This scam is were they claim normally their from a good company like DELL, MSN, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and so on and claim you won something normally money and other times computers, Mp3 players, TVs and so on. This is a terrible scam but I have seen people fall for it. I have knowledge of at least 5 people who became victims to this type of scam. Most of the time there are no graphics in the e-mail not even company logos. They are often very short and normally in an odd font. The reason for this scam is to get background information sometimes for calling lists sometimes for home addresses and sometime just to play with people ( For scam mail to fit into this type category, there can NOT be any mention of Lottery or Lotto in said e-mail. It has just to say Promotion that’s is it and very few scam mails fall into this category)
